Nero Art Hub presents Out of Frame: Art Beyond Expectations, a group exhibition of contemporary art featuring Neeraj Sharma, Shubhra Jain, Rajesh K. Baderia, Pratishtha Garg and Nisha Verma. Curated by Ranbir Rathi, the exhibition brings together five distinct artistic practices that explore the possibilities of creative expression beyond established categories, familiar conventions and fixed interpretations.

Bringing together varied visual languages and thematic concerns, Out of Frame examines the relationship between art, personal experience, cultural memory and individual perception. From spirituality and traditional iconography to abstraction, symbolism, human emotion and the natural world, the exhibition presents a range of perspectives that retain their individuality while contributing to a broader dialogue on contemporary art.

Each participating artist approaches their practice from a distinct point of departure. Neeraj Sharma engages with Indian cultural heritage and traditional iconography through Cubist influences, fragmented forms, geometric structures and layered compositions. Shubhra Jain explores themes of faith, hope and introspection, while Rajesh K. Baderia expresses experiences of belief and mysticism through abstraction, colour and ancient symbolism. Delhi-based artist Pratishtha Garg examines the intersections of spirituality and human emotion, and Nisha Verma offers a sensitive interpretation of nature through her artistic practice.

Together, these approaches demonstrate how artists draw upon their observations, cultural references and inner experiences to develop individual visual expressions. Rather than adhering to a singular aesthetic or narrative, the exhibition embraces diversity as a defining feature of contemporary artistic practice, allowing contrasting ideas and approaches to coexist within a shared space.

At the heart of Out of Frame lies the understanding that an artwork extends beyond what is immediately visible. Forms, colours, textures and symbols can evoke meanings that are not always explicit, leaving room for personal associations and multiple interpretations. The exhibition encourages viewers to look beyond the surface of an artwork and engage with the ideas, emotions and experiences that shape its meaning.

By bringing together artists with different sensibilities, the exhibition creates opportunities for unexpected connections and fresh perspectives. The works invite audiences to reconsider familiar ways of seeing and to approach art with openness and curiosity. Here, differences are not meant to be resolved into a common visual language but appreciated for the conversations they create.

Through this coming together of independent artistic voices, Out of Frame celebrates the freedom of creative expression and the multiplicity of meanings that contemporary art can hold. It proposes that art need not be confined by conventional boundaries or predetermined interpretations. Instead, it offers viewers an opportunity to reflect, discover and form their own connections with the works on display.

The exhibition will be on view from 31 October to 15 November 2026 at Nero Art Hub.
